Follow along for a moment if you will; It may be a brazen statement for a fledgling cookie company…but,

We believe that the perfect cookie hasn’t been made.

In a quest to find the perfect cookie we began on a journey that spanned over a decade, a myriad of kitchens, and thousands upon thousands of ‘test batches’. We baked, modified and sampled, then modified and shared, baked, and adjusted, sampled, failed, baked some more, celebrated when each batch became more delicious, then burnt, dropped, baked, sold, and tested some more, until…we were found some ‘damn near perfect’ recipes we felt were ready to share with the rest of the world.

In the most literal of senses, the perfect cookie may never be made; however, our esteemed (air quotes) Researchers at Sugar & Soda are dedicated to the quest; and are happy to share the ‘near perfection’ with all of those who chose to join the quest for the perfect cookie.

Soda and Sugar, Sugar & Soda…and we don’t mean Fanta

Sugar, as we all know, is a sweet and essential ingredient of cookie baking.

Baking Soda, has it’s own essential place in baking true…but, when mixed with other recipes it can (quite literally) have explosive results.

The name Sugar & Soda is intended to be a reminder that with balance, specificity & and ample amount of ampersands you can find that “near perfect” recipe….be certain to take the time to enjoy the quest.
